Can the Lich King be soloed?
Lich King (Icecrown Citadel tactics) <Lich King> are probably impossible to solo at any level, because of their mechanics.
Remain "dead" until maybe 3 Shambling Horrors are up, or 4 if you want to be safe. Once you have enough adds up, run back up and stack on them until you get Necrotic Plague and let it expire off of you. Disengage backwards, Feign Death again, stay down and just tab around until you see 30 stacks on one add.
He's also going to cast rattletrap on you but you have to move out of because if you stand on it you

You can solo an expansion's raids even as early as 5-10 levels above their cap. The damage/defense scaling buff will apply to you. At 50 you can easily do vanilla through WoD.
Easy to solo as a resto Druid. Just kill the first four mobs to start the encounter, then spam heal on Valithria before she spawns any portals.
all achivs and HC fights (except valithria) can be soloed with a hunter, and i didnt even use spirit mend. Once Bitten, Twice Shy: this one cannot be completed in 1 run. u have to kill the boss twice, once bitten, other one not bitten. bitten part is easy.

To actually battle him, you need up to 25 other players in the Icecrown Citadel raid instance. For him to properly spawn, all three wing Guardians (Sindragosa, Blood-Queen Lana'thel and Professor Putricide) must be downed. Doing so allows you to teleport to him through the center of the Citadel.
The first expansion pack, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, raised the maximum level from 60 to 70 and the Wrath of the Lich King raised the level cap from 70 to 80.
If you're looking for the pet battles within, you can enter solo and a group spawns around the entranceway, allowing access to the four capture pets.
