Whats better Nexus Mod Manager or vortex?
NMM vs Vortex
With mod support for over 65 different games, Vortex is the most versatile mod manager available. Vortex is more convenient when dealing with MOD conflicts or MOD coverage.
The best mod manager is Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) because it allows you to create different modding templates for you to launch your game in different ways. This versatility sets it far apart from all other mod managers. The inferior models are Vortex and Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), all available on Nexus Mods website.
For downloading, installing, and managing Skyrim Special Edition mods, we recommend Vortex. It's simple to use, and it works with a number of other games like the Fallout series, the Witcher series, Darks Souls, XCOM 2, and lots more.
Vortex comes with LOOT integrated into it and will automatically sort your load order in a sensible fashion to avoid conflicts and achieve a stable setup. That being said, with Vortex you are still able to define your own rules for both plugins as well as groups of plugins for more granular control of your load order.
Note that there is a hard limit of 255 plugins (esp and esm files) dictated by the game engine, but there is technically no limit to the number of mods you can install. It is perfectly possible to have ~ 500 mods installed and enabled, while it is not possible to have more than 255 plugins in your plugin list.
Should I use Bethesda.net mods or Nexus mods? I have always used Nexus as it is easier to maintain the mods. Always nexus, at least for the next year if not much, much longer. Certain mods require file edits, and this will be true no matter where you get it.
The 256 (hex FF) mod limit is one of 2 limits you may run into with mods - the other one is the total number of mods, activated or not, in your data folder.

Is Skyrim GPU or CPU intensive?
For vanilla Skyrim, I'd say it's more on the CPU intensive side, but in your case for mods, I think you're better off upgrading your GPU. Your CPU is still more than sufficient, but you might run into some GPU bottlenecks with visual overhauls.
Skyrim is one of the easiest games on PC to mod thanks to its integration with the Steam Workshop. All you need to do is follow the links we've provided to the Workshop pages and 'Subscribe' to the mod. This will download and apply the mod to your game with no fuss at all.

Launch Vortex, head to Games and use the search to find Kingdom Come Deliverance. Click manage game and point Vortex to the KingdomComeDeliverance folder. Vortex should now be able to install manage mods.
You can use it to install plugins for script hook, asset replacers as well as addons. Script Hook V and OpenIV are required, the extension will guide you through the correct installation once you start managing the game inside Vortex. This requires Vortex 1.1.
The best mod manager for FNV is without a doubt Mod Organizer 2. It allows a bigger control over what mods you install, what overwrites what, etc. It also keeps your game files "clean" by using virtual folders, this means that it will not install the mods in the game's directories.
Why is Vortex blurry? Vortex (and other Electron apps) may appear blurry, this is caused by the FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) feature which is part of the Nvidia graphics software. You can turn off FXAA in the Nvidia Control Panel under 3D Settings.
If you want to take your game back to a default, unmodded state, you can use Vortex's Purge feature. Click the Purge Mods button from the Mods list and Vortex will undeploy all your enabled mods, leaving your game directory essentially unmodded.
Vortex can be on a different drive but the mods must be stored and installed on the same drive as the game is installed. It is not a problem though as you just need to point vortex to the game installtion drive via settings, it won't allow you to install mods until you do.
Skyrim still has an advantage when it comes to modding. The Special Edition version of the game is very stable and much more forgiving than Fallout 4. Even veteran modders have trouble dealing with Fallout 4's tricky architecture.

Does Nexus scan for viruses?
All files on Nexus Mods feature an icon next to the file name to indicate the virus scan status. This is usually a white cross in a red circle or a white tick in a green circle.
As reported in PC Gamer, the move came as a protest against a new policy on the site that stops modders from deleting their mod files. The site plans to add a collections feature, which will let people assemble lists of compatible mods to download with a single click.
If you do not use a mod manager you have to manually download and save your files to your hard-drive and then either manually extract files in the proper game directories, or use a mod manager to load the files. NMM takes care of all of this in the background, which really speeds up the modding process.
Almost all the games that Nexusmods services are *required* to use steam so ... yeah, you can use them. The launch options may be different - if you want to run a properly modded Fallout orSkyrim for instance, you really should look into the launchers available.
Vortex mod manager is a massive open-source mod manager that allows you to download, install and manage different mods for your games with an easy to use interface. It supports quite many games and is available for download on Windows 7, 8 and 10 along with support for Windows XP as well.
